Making your first booking
To see our clinicians for the first time:
See your GP and obtain a referral addressed to “The Canberra Private Clinic”
Have your GP forward the referral to us or simply submit for an initial booking online and upload your referral.
Referrals are generally processed in under five business days (often much sooner) and then assigned to one of the team.
Our team will then contact you and schedule your first appointment. It’s that simple!

A modern approach
We understand the importance of privacy, convenience and local expertise and knowledge.
If it’s your first time seeing one of our practitioners, you will be emailed our new patient registration form where you can upload your GP details , referral letters and mental health care plans. This is required for all psychiatric and psychology reviews.
You will be prompted to complete a medical history questionnaire. By accurately completing all elements of this comprehensive pre-assessment form, our practitioners will have a better understanding of your health issues ahead of the scheduled appointment.
Clinician’s may also request you complete individual questionnaires and rating scales to obtain detailed and personalised data ahead of your visit which will help ensure a comprehensive review.
